Cute Mountain Town at the foot of Pikes Peak

Things To Do in Manitou Springs in the Summer

Historic Manitou is located at the base of Pikes Peak. The beautiful mountain views, the charming downtown area and the natural springs have been bringing people to Manitou for over 100 years.  There are old Victorian homes built into the mountain side, as well as newer areas with multi-million dollar homes with amazing views of Pikes Peak and the City of Colorado Springs.  The Cog Railway begins here in Manitou and takes Visitors to the top of Pikes Peak.  The 'Incline' trail is also located here, gaining nearly 2,000 feet of elevation over less than 1 mile. You can also visit the Cave of the Winds, the Manitou Cliff Dwellings or Miramont Castle Museum.  Manitou is also located near Garden of the Gods.  If you are wanting to live where you are next to amazing hiking trails and mountain biking or where you can walk to a quaint coffee shop or restaurant, Manitou may be a great fit.
